Maggie Dearth

Maggie, born in south Mississippi, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern Mississippi where she concentrated on painting and ceramics. She has developed a strong preference for ink and watercolor illustration. Her work has been exhibited at the Athica Athens Institute from Contemporary Arts, the Tasting Room at Terrapin Beer Company, the A-Gallery (Hattiesburg, MS), and numerous restaurants across the southeast. Maggie frequently displays and sells her work and jewelry at local fairs and festivals. She is often inspired by the natural, the supernatural, and the relationship between the two.
